Community Farming Alliance is a cooperative of farmers of color and women farmers in the DC area. Here are our members:

We also work with affiliate farmers with shared values in the DC area.

About Our CSA

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture which means community members invest directly in their local food producer. A CSA is a subscription service where you pay in advance for the ability to get a part of the harvest every week. We have 2 CSAs, spring and summer. Click here to Signup.

Spring 2015 CSA March 9th – April 30th

Become a Spring Shareholder and you get 8 weeks of fresh local food from a DC’s best farm cooperative. Our spring share includes seasonal vegetables, mushrooms, eggs, herbal products and some surprises. 20 slots available, with our without eggs. Join now at the Good Sense Farm Store.

CSA pickup is on Thursdays, 5pm – 8pm from March 12th to April 30th at 733 Euclid St. NW. Workplace deliveries are on the following Friday morning.

Everyone has a different appetite but we estimate that the spring share is enough for 1-2 people who cook dinner 2-3 times a week. The commitment is 8 weeks so try it if you are new to CSAs and don’t know if you are ready to commit to a whole year.
